About Me

I am a doctor at the AHF Healthcare Center - Northpoint.  My interest in treating HIV was prompted in my mid 20's- well before starting medical school- by what I learned while I shadowed an Infectious Disease doctor in an outpatient HIV clinic in St. Pete, Florida in conjunction with my many personal experiences with the disease as I watched so many people I was close to by that young age become stricken with it. This was further cemented throughout medical school and my post graduate training-leading to me doing a fellowship in Infectious Disease where I spent my allocated research/elective time doing presentations, QI projects, and manuscripts on HIV/HCV/STD research. I also became trained in High Resolution Anoscopy for the purposes of diagnosing and treating precancerous HPV induced anal neoplasia-one of the most (in my opinion) important aspects of HIV primary care but also one of the most under-rated and under exposed within the medical community

Fun Fact: My favorite hobbies are traveling, reading, playing string bass, and trying action/extreme sports like bungee jumping, sky diving, and canyon rappelling.
