About Me

I work for the AHF Healthcare Center - Columbia. My nursing background was in mental health and addictions. My best friend was diagnose with HIV and the care she received in the hospital was a disgrace. She died shortly after her diagnosis, and I made a vow at that point to provide quality care with compassion for people living with this disease. I have a special interest in women's health and aging HIV clinic and chronic illness that come with aging.

Fun Fact: I been with AHF for 5 years now, and I chose to work for them because of their mission statement to provide quality medical care regardless of ability to pay. Before AHF, I worked for many years in Ryan White clinics in SC and GA.
