Dr. Eric Walker, MD

About Me

Dr. Eric Walker is the Medical Director at AHF's Austin Healthcare Center, bringing 24 years of practice experience in internal medicine and infectious disease.
After completing his internal medicine residency, Dr. Walker knew he wanted to specialize further. He was drawn to Infectious Disease for its complexity and scope, working with patients across every age group, condition, and organ system. That training gave him deep expertise in comprehensive HIV care. He joined AHF to be part of something larger than himself, bringing both his clinical expertise and compassion to a population that truly needs it.

Dr. Walker is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is in the recertification process for Infectious Disease.

Dr. Walker is an avid SCUBA diver who loves to travel.
