About Me

I am the Doctor of the AHF Healthcare Center - Dallas. After completing my infectious disease fellowship, I realized that I missed the continuity of care that an a practicing infectious disease specialist lacks in a hospital type setting. I love seeing patients in my clinic, and more importantly, I love seeing them as often as I can! Practicing HIV medicine has allowed me to combine both my love of my specialty and my love for seeing patients on a continuous basis. I moved down to Dallas shortly after finishing my training in New York. At that time, AHF was just breaking ground in the great state of Texas, and within 6 months--had two highly functioning clinics in FTW and Dallas. I was initially hired as the medical director for both clinics. I have been so impressed by the progressive thinking of AHF in the way we approach the care of each and every patient. It is a multidisciplinary approach, and takes into account the patient as a whole. We are able to address the medical, social, and psychosocial needs of the patient, in addition to much more. I have a particular interest in women's health and am able to perform well woman exams on most of my female patients. I am so happy and grateful for the opportunity to be working at AHF. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my patient's face when I report an undetectable viral load to him or her!

Fun Fact: I love New York bagels and warm chocolate chip cookies! In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball with my two sons and husband!
