About Me

I am a provider of the AHF Healthcare Center: Northpoint. I grew up in the 80s and 90s and saw firsthand the devastation of both HIV/AIDS and stigma on people I knew and loved. As a registered nurse, I cared for patients with HIV in the hospital and witnessed both the early days and the progress of HIV treatment. My HIV journey began in 2005 as a medical case manager in Dallas, Texas, before becoming an HIV provider in 2022. In case management, I identified barriers to care and helped clients access services through community resources. As a provider, I draw on that experience to better serve patients medically. I chose AHF for its dedication and commitment to ending the HIV epidemic in the U.S. and worldwide. My clinical interests include HIV and STI prevention.


Outside of work, I enjoy reading history, solving puzzles, traveling, and listening to music from many eras and genres.
