About Me

I  am the Director of Research for the Southern Bureau and have participated in researching most of the anti-retrovirals which have been studied for the past 18 years. I was previously employed in the music business in New York City where I co-composed themes for GI Joe, Transformers, My Little Pony, Gem, The Holograms, and many others. During the 1980's while my career was soaring, the AIDS crisis was also soaring. So, I decided to leave this lucrative profession and went to medical school at age 37 to become an HIV/AIDS specialist. Fortunately this has gone very well and joining AHF has given me the opportunity to actualize unlimited avenues to participate in the well being of HIV and AIDS patients, medically and politically. I am delighted with my decision to join AHF.

Fun Fact: I play keyboards, sing, can write for the whole orchestra and I love to windsurf in Biscayne Bay right here in Miami.
