Brian J. Beesley, DO, AAHIVS

About Me

I am the Healthcare Medical Director of the AHF Healthcare Center - Columbus. Serving the underserved is a mantra of osteopathic medicine. Upon graduating from Ohio University, I pledged my life's work to underserved populations and the LGBTQ+ community. In the early 90s and even now, care gaps still exist for marginalized groups. I felt it was important to proudly represent this community to the best of my ability and give back to Ohio. My areas of expertise are HIV medicine, hepatitis, men's health, primary care medicine, clinical research in HIV, and clinical teaching at The Ohio State University and Ohio University.

Fun Fact: I enjoy kayaking in Michigan and am a huge fan of NCAA Division 3 Football (Go Wabash!) as well as a longtime fan of comics from DC, Marvel, and others. I also enjoy spending time with my Labrador Retriever and tending to my garden and fish pond. I am a lifelong advocate for the LGBTQ+ and PWHIV communities.
