About Me
I am a provider of the AHF Healthcare Centers: Capitol Hill and Washington DC HCC. HIV disproportionately impacts individuals due to social and structural health disparities. I became a provider of HIV medicine out of a commitment to address these inequalities and improve access to care. I specifically chose to work at AHF because I stand behind our mission--providing cutting edge medicine and advocacy regardless of ability to pay. My greatest reward is caring for the community where I live and work, building meaningful connections and making a lasting impact.
I was a surgical-trauma ICU nurse before finding my home in HIV primary care. Over the years, I've developed a particular interest in LGBTQ+ health and HIV/STI prevention. Beyond my clinical work, I have a passion for travel. I've explored 34 countries (and counting), which has given me a broad perspective on global health and cultural diversity.
