Dr. Veronica Zayas

About Me

I am the Medical Director of the AHF Healthcare Center - Dallas. During my Fellowship in Va Caribbean Healthcare system in San Juan, PR, I was assigned to a clinic that attended HIV patients. During this time, I developed a relationship with these patients, that helped me grow as a doctor and human being. That experienced solidify my goal to work in a HIV clinic where I could continue to form a special bond with the patient and also help their quality of life. I love that the HIV field is always changing and this keeps me interested and hungry for more knowledge. I was interested to work with AHF, as they provide an interdisciplinary service that helps improve quality of life and is directed to the population I am interested in.

Fun Fact: I love reading romance novels and watching football.
