About Me

I am a doctor of the AHF Healthcare Center: Fort Worth. My initial interest in HIV treatment and management was my network of friends who had lived through the HIV/AIDS crisis and hearing their hopeful stories, despite the hardships they had experienced. As I studied Anthropology at TCU in Fort Worth, my passion continued to flourish through my studies focusing on the global effects of HIV/AIDS. Throughout my medical career, I have worked with providers in Miami who treated HIV, as well as personally treated patients in rural East Texas in the DFW area, and in Denver, Colorado. In the diagnosis, treatment, and management of HIV, I find it imperative to treat the patient and not just the infection. Following this pathway, I have been successful in not only staying up to date with the latest guidelines for HIV prevention and management, but also by educating the patient on what is to be expected during their medical care. I am also highly invested in the diagnosis & treatment of STI's as well as gender re-affirming hormone therapy.

Fun Fact: My favorite hobbies include traveling, cooking, eating, and staying active through exercise, such as obstacle races, and mud runs.
